Wireart Christmas News 2023
Introducing John’s Greeting Cards
During the winter of 2023 we spent some time at Mapua – a favourite holiday place for us. We were thinking of taking the trailer and making Wire Art, but John had wanted to paint so we decided this was the ideal time.
Naturally when you live at Lake Tekapo you start by painting The Church of the Good Shepherd, Lake Tekapo and the surrounding hills and mountains.
Mapua Wharf is a picturesque area and the yachts on the water made an interesting card.
The theme of Wild Flowers including the lovely lupins that flower in the McKenzie area Nov – January each year are the focal point of each card.
An ex farmer couldn’t paint without painting sheep and lambs and also Mount Cook is an all time favourite for an artist to paint.
These cards are available from us – please enquire if you would like us to send you some. The cards are $6.00 each and we can post to you.
We do offer wholesale rates if you have a shop and wish to sell them.
Rusty barbed wire is not so available, and we do not have any here at present. We can supply rusty plain wire and have trees and balls ready to send. We can make galvanized barbed wire balls and trees and galvanized plain wire.
We have other bigger sculptures here in our yard ready to send via Courier, deliver to you or pick up is OK.
Please think about that we are getting older and the wire is getting scarcer so if you do want to purchase a Wire Art Sculpture the time is now.
Thanks and enjoy the lead up to Christmas and a Wire Art purchase might be on your Christmas list this year.

Wireart followers will be looking forward to Spring and Summer in their gardens. We have been receiving orders for WireArt Sculptures and wanted to remind you we have some larger pieces in stock and ready for dispatch.
Balls and Trees available now.
We do not attend Fetes and Markets – we loved meeting our customers at these events but the logistics to attend with a large trailer load of WireArt was – say we say interesting ...
You can see the WireArt here on our website and we do have a Facebook page.
We use a delivery man to take larger items to the North Island. This works well – he goes once a month and we deliver to him free of charge to Christchurch. We can deliver to Canterbury area and sometime other areas, or we use Aramex for deliveries. Freightman delivers in the South Island for our larger items too.
John has been making WireArt for 15 years. Of course we have aged 15 years in that time too.
We are suggesting if you would like a piece of WireArt Sculpture made by John, get your order in now!
